  31.     Aminet CD 6 contains over 1 gigabyte of freely distributable software.
  32.     The newest file included is dated Apr 28th. The space is used as 
  33.     follows (uncompressed sizes):

  35.       520M of software newer than Aminet CD 5
  36.       500M of demos
  37.        20M of top downloads
  38.  
  39.     These consist of:
  40.       1800 demos
  41.       1300 tools
  42.        350 mods
  43.        140 pics
  44.        120 games

  46.     The demos were collected from various sources besides Aminet, and almost 
  47.     none of them have appeared on previous Aminet CDs.

  49.     The disks also contains all Amiga Report magazines issued so far.

  52. ACCESS SOFTWARE

  54.     Amigaguide based user interface, allows easy unpacking and viewing 
  55.     using a single mouse click.

  57.     Extensive search facilities. Finds words in descriptions or readmes,
  58.     and outputs matches as an index that allows direct viewing.

  60.     New access features for the following categories of files:

  62.     - Demos: All demos have been tested. Separate lists of best, good and 
  63.       compatible demos. All demos startable from those indices. Another 
  64.       demo index is the Amiga Demo List with extensive info about almost 
  65.       all demos on the CD. It is sorted by demo group. Finally there is a 
  66.       program called BootTool that allows you to view demos right after a
  67.       reboot without much fuss, so you can quickly look at the demos that 
  68.       force you to reboot.

  70.     - Mods: All of the modules are listed in indices sorted by music style 
  71.       and rating. There's also an index sorted by module author and the
  72.       possibility to randomly play music of a certain style.

  74.     - Docs: All Amiga Report electronic magazines that have appeared so far
  75.       are on this CD, including a utility that allows you to search for any
  76.       text in any AR article very quickly.

  78.     - Personal: Aminet CD 6 allows you to easily create an index of your
  79.       favourite files on the CD.

  81.     - German: All the files (except demos) on Aminet CD 6 have a German
  82.       description. Also included is an index of the SaarAG disks up to
  83.       840.

  85.     Other improvements are the possibility to use file requesters to
  86.     set extraction and tool paths, and 'Clones' which are little programs 
  87.     that, when started, unpack and run/view a file from the Aminet CD.
